Steve Iorii has been playing the drums for about 142 years. His mastery of turning a 4/4 into 3/19 time signature is stunning to say the least. Steve has mangled songs for such groups as Dog Eat Dog, Drunk Monkey, Smokin Bones, Circus Midgets, Mutha Load, Down Force before  screwing up time for Hyjinx. It was November of 2004 when Steve was contacted by a desperate band member in search of a drummer that was willing to travel hundreds of miles to play for $45. Steve saved up all of his earnings from the band for 6 months to put a down payment on his $170 “Hyjinx” logo bass drum head. Now it was official, he was a member. Steve worked night and day practicing the sets and in just 10 months was able to master 6 songs. The others….well lets just say “nice try”. Now, over 5 years later, Steve is still  making loud noises in the band.
